speaking slowly and clearly for the elderly to understand.

These activities are just a few of the many memory-boosting activities for seniors with dementia. But what is more important than that activity is the readiness of the caregivers to take care of the elderly. Caregivers need to be patient, calm, have the right temperament and a sense of humor to reduce stress. as well as helping to adjust the talking atmosphere to be comfortable and relaxed. Caregivers should have skills in communicating with the elderly such as speaking in a low, soft tone, speaking briefly, not shouting loudly, speaking slowly and clearly for the elderly to understand. Sometimes the elderly may take a long time to come up with the words or some may not be able to answer the questions. Let"s try to talk. Make the elderly feel comfortable, relax, and then review the questions.
